Description
This shell prosthesis by Trulife is fantastic for those post lumpectomy or undertaking multiple stage breast reconstruction. The triangular shape provides overall coverage to the breast and evenly restores symmetry.
The shell prosthesis comprises of three layers that can be removed and repositioned as necessary. During reconstruction, the layers can be reduced to provide an even shape rather than providing fullness. Trulife have created this shell prosthesis to a fantastic standard providing a translucent skin effect and fine, thin tapered edges for an intimate, seamless fit beneath your clothing.
This prosthesis can be worn directly against the skin or inserted within the cup pocket of a mastectomy bra, the choice if yours.
TIPS FOR GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR RECOVER SHELL PROSTHESIS:
- During breast reconstruction or pregnancy reduce the shell prosthesis layers
- Wash your shell prosthesis in mild soap and pat dry
- For an uneven breast, shape try repositioning each layer of the prosthesis
