Eyebrow Microblading Steps
Patch Test
A patch test is conducted prior to the microblading procedure to ensure that the client does not have an allergic reaction to the pigments or anaesthetic used. During this test, a small amount of pigment is applied to the skin, usually behind the ear or on the forearm. The area is observed for 24-48 hours to check for any adverse reactions such as redness, itching, or swelling. This step is crucial for ensuring the client’s safety and comfort.
Consultation
The consultation is an essential step to discuss eligibility, mapping & colour.
You may be requested to provide permission from your oncologist.
Debbie or Olive will explain the microblading or micropigmentation process, aftercare instructions, and potential risks. This is an opportunity for you to ask questions and ensure you feel comfortable and informed before proceeding.

Microblading Part 1
Eyebrow Microblading and Micropigmentation are 2 step procedures.
The first part of the microblading/micropigmentation procedure begins with mapping out your desired eyebrow shape, ensuring symmetry and alignment with your facial features.
Once you’re happy with the design the eyebrow area will be numbed to minimise discomfort. Nurse Debbie delivers micropigmentation brows known as powder brows and misty brows with an electric hand tool and a fine single needle. This creates fine, hair-like strokes by depositing pigment into the superficial layers of the skin.
This process is meticulous and requires precision to achieve a natural look.
Microblading Part 2
6 to 8 weeks later you will revisit Nurse Debbie to have the second and final step completed. This step is crucial for refining the brows.
During the 6-8 week gap between your appointments, your brows will heal and the pigment may fade, don’t worry as this is normal.
Nurse Debbie will assess the brows and touch up any gaps and faded areas. Additional hair strokes may be added to enhance the shape and fullness.
